Pokemon Go Medals List : How to Unlock Bronze, Silver and Gold

Like in most video and online games, Pokemon GO too has dozens of medals that can be achieved or unlocked by completing various activities. In Pokemon Go, Medals are awarded to you for an array of gameplay achievements. This includes walking a certain distance, Registering a particular type of Pokemon or catching Pokemon. Requirements for unlocking these medals vary and these are called Badges. You will get these Badges or Medals as you progress the game. When you obtain the medal, you will get some experience for your player character. In this post, we will walk you through all the Pokemon GO Medals List and the requirements to unlock the Bronze, Silver and Gold Medal in Pokemon Go and Gain XP in Pokemon Go.

In Pokemon Go, the Medal system is a little self-serving for the moment. The Pokemon GO Medals are divided into three tiers; Gold, Silver, and Bronze depending on their difficulty. Obtaining them doesn’t give you any profits, but you can show them to your friends. However, unlocking a medal will grant you a small amount of XP when earned. Basically, Medals are a list of accomplishments or achievements you and your friends can compete on unlocking.

Where to find and view Pokémon Go Medals

To find and view your achievements, and medals in your Trainer Profile, in Map View, touch the round Trainer avatar icon in the bottom left corner on the map screen and scroll down. There you will see a list of all achievements and your progress. You will also see the table with specific medals and conditions for obtaining them. The list is updated every time you play, so you can see how close you are to reaching a goal by the completion of the ring around the medal.

As of now, there are a total of 28 Medals in the game, each one will only display once you’ve started working towards it. Each Medal in Pokémon Go has Bronze, Silver and Gold requirements. With the exception of “Kanto”, the medals are all named after Trainer classes. Please note that they won’t appear at all until you’ve caught your first Pikachu and the same applies to various types.  Below is a list of medals, and the known requirements to unlock Medals in Pokemon GO.
