Modern Combat 5: Blackout is the fifth edition of the Modern Combat series, a first-person shooter developed and offered by Wil Lane Bucharest and published by Gameloft. Modern Combat 5: Blackout Free-To-Play on all platforms except for BlackBerry 10. It is one of the most popular action games with amazing graphics, exciting storylines, and online multiplayer mode. However, there are some downside and errors that players are often experiencing. In this post, we will look into some of the Modern Combat 5: Blackout problems like Modern Combat 5: Blackout freezing, Modern Combat 5: Blackout crashing and Modern Combat 5: Blackout black screen, bugs, and other issues.
Modern Combat 5 keeps crashing. What can you do?
If Modern Combat 5: Blackout keeps crashing on startup or while playing, please make sure your phone operating system and game version are up-to-date. If your game still crashes upon launch or after playing for some time, here are a few possible solutions.</ br>
Update your app: Make sure that you have installed the latest version of Modern Combat 5: Blackout. Check your app version by going to your respective app store and see if updates are available or not. Also, see that the app version you are using is compatible with your device.
Soft and Hard restart: Hold down the lock button located at the top of your device for a few seconds, then slide to power your device off when prompted. If this does not help, try a hard restart: Hold down the lock button and the home button for a few seconds. Ignore the prompt to power off and just keep holding those two buttons.
This method involves a substantially longer restart than the soft restart mentioned earlier. If neither the soft nor hard restarts work, try deleting the game from your device and re-downloading it. To download your game data back onto your device, make sure you log into the same social network account as before.
3G/4G connection Problems
If your 3G/4G connection does not work or does not work properly, try disconnecting your 3G/4G data, or shut down your device, restart your device again, enable the connection and try launching the app again. Also, it may be more useful to completely close all the applications running on your device.

Logging problems with Google+ Account
If you have problems logging with your Google+ Account you may try the following steps to resolve this issue:

3. Check your Wi-Fi network is password-protected so no one else is using it and lowering your bandwidth.
4. Please make sure you do not have any streaming or P2P software running on your Wi-Fi network.
5. Try logging out of your Google+ account, if you are currently logged in.
6. Try to Log in with Google+ through the app by going to Options –> Connectivity.
Due to a large number of users, Modern Combat 5: Blackout servers may be overloaded, and you will have to try to connect to your account 3-4 times.
Cannot recover your progress?
Make sure that your game progress is correctly linked to the social network account that you are using. If you’ve lost your progress or want to transfer it to another device with the same platform, log in with the same account you used before. If you are having several social network accounts, each of them will have its own progress. Please make sure to enter the correct login information to restore the necessary data. If you’ve lost access to your account, please try to regain it by recovering your password. Note that Modern Combat 5 does not perform progress transfers from one social network account to another for security reasons.
Issues with 3D Touch controls in Modern Combat 5
Please note that you need the 3D Touch option to be set ON/OFF by going to Settings > Controls > 3D Touch. You can also adjust the sensitivity (3D Touch pressure) in the same Controls section.
How to upgrade a weapon?
You can upgrade a weapon by browsing to the weapon page inside the loadout section, or go to the Inventory page and select the weapon of your choice. The weapon needs to be unlocked, you need to have obtained and assembled the Blueprints for that particular weapon. If that is the case, you can proceed to upgrade it.
I don’t get VIP points after а match.
Please note that at the end of a match, a reward badge that says “+x% VIP” shows the extra score you gained in that particular event, based on your VIP level benefits. The VIP points required to increase your VIP level can only be obtained by making purchases, collecting specific daily rewards and participating in special events that offer VIP points as the final rewards. Check out your VIP benefits by accessing the VIP icon next to your name on the main menu.
Why can’t you join an event in Modern Combat 5?
If you want to join a Squad Event in Modern Combat 5, you need to be a member of a squad with at least two members. Also, there are special Solo and Squad events that require a certain condition to be met such as having a certain Player Level or a weapon unlocked.
Why is the Modern Combat 5 controller not working?
If the controller not working please check that the controller battery is charged and that the controller is powered on and paired with the (iOS) device in the Bluetooth settings menu. If it’s not pairing, you can try resetting the controller.
If the game won’t start, and you are getting a message reading, “Internet access is required to play this game.” You can access the game and play story mode with at least a 3G-speed mobile Internet connection or with Wi-Fi, but you need a Wi-Fi connection to play multiplayer.
