The Walking Dead: Road to Survival used some of the characters from The Walking Dead stories and adaptations of scenes from the TV Series in the game. The Walking Dead: Road to Survival is primarily a city building game like Clash of Clans that incorporates battle elements. You can play alone to complete missions, or you can even go on raids with your in-game faction to gain needed supplies. You can also take on other users in head-to-head PVP, tournaments and create alliances.

You have to fight for survival against walkers and humans alike, using strategy to attack enemy weak points and deep RPG progression to decide your path. Build town is one of the main activities, to keep the walkers at bay. The horrors that lurk outside aren’t the only threat, and the decisions you made are all that stand between life and death.

Features of The Walking Dead: Road to Survival

Fight Walkers and Survivors: Use your best strategy to survive and battle against fierce opponents. Headshot! you have to be very precise and land critical hits and deal crippling blows to your enemies. Charge opponents with special melee and ranged attacks using deadly weapons like Michonne’s katana.

Strategy Gameplay: Capitalize on Strengths & Exploit Weaknesses: Here tactics are the key to scoring powerful hits, but beware for retaliation.

Build a Base and Expand into the Wasteland: Try to build the ultimate safe haven to keep the vicious walkers out and to hold Survivors, a Town Hall to expand your city, a Workshop to craft items and more

Robert: Game is pretty good, I’m f2p and am in a top 5 faction after a bit of work. One issue I’ve noticed is that it seems to be too many events happening at one time to keep up, and then a lull of nothingness for weeks. Definitely some pay to win overpowered characters here as well.

Aliyyah: So I love this game. Great graphics, nice pacing. Just having a problem right now. Once I level up to level 6, the recent progress will immediately be deleted. I have replayed the level and restarted the game but to no avail. I am playing on Vivo 5+. Any updates or improvement to this matter is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

RenzPvP: It’s a great game but the loading screen takes too long to load. It’s so annoying because I have to restart the game every single time just for it to load. If there’s any way you can fix this, fix it.

Bossy: It uses to be fun. But now it’s the same stuff over and over and when they do something new it’s not fun. It still feels like its the same thing. The same people win every tournament. You only win if you actually put a lot of money into it.

David: The Best game I have come across for the walking dead and while it can be repetitive. The developers do at least try and keep building on it. More world maps would be nice though!

John: I enjoyed this game. Up until 5hour after downloading it. It will no longer load. If I want to get it over 0% I must close the app and re-enter it multiple times and still, I’ll only get to 9%. This game has a lot of space for improvement. I believe it has potential.

Roger: Support has some shady people working. You are definitely not appreciated. They actually make fun of YOU.

Emeracco: This one of the best RPG Strategy games I’ve ever played. The graphics are godly. Turn-based gameplay really requires skill, because even on the S1 team you can get shredded on A+ levels. The plot is actually really interesting. You gotta make hard choices for the greater good of Woodbury’s people’s future. Though it really does require massive praying to RNGesus you can get 5*s. Also, ads really don’t tell much about this game, because its story is completely different.

Justin: They really ripe you off. If you don’t spend money, you are not going to be at the top and they scam you every way. Also, if other players bother you or violent the policies for personal conduct. They say they investigate and cannot tall you even if they talk to the player.

Greg: Great concept, a lot of potential for an amazing game. It’s a naked cash grab though, the character pulls are essentially fraud on the developers part and not a moment goes by where the game isn’t attempting to hustle loyal players out of money. The game is also a glitchy mess, particularly during war and support is awful to the say the least. Don’t believe the inflated rating, look at the scope forums to get a slice of the truth. All of the issues and greed are a real shame because like I said, the potential is amazing.

Urban: Honestly other than a fallout shelter. This is the only game I actually really enjoy on my phone. It’s fun and has a lot to do. But it’s not very repetitive as it’s a pretty strategic game. It’s pretty cool although it does take up lots of space.

Kiyan: All in all, good game, however a little pointer I think you should be able to complete missions again. Be able to choose the story options again but not get the reward every time. I choose one I wonder what the other would have done. I believe it would give people a better chance to appreciate your developers and animators.

Kelly: Would be 5 but it is such a data hog it is unbelievable.

Joseph: I am still playing this game cause it’s fun. The really bad and screwed up part is the character level ups (some very valuable toons don’t work). If you spend hard-earned money here, be prepared to get ripped off. They have timed sales using 6 characters(ie: toons) but you don’t get all of them as they are presented. It’s like buying a Snickers candy bar. You expect “chocolate, peanuts, nougat, and caramel, only when open the package, you find that the nuts and caramel are fake. They’ve substituted it

Jay: It’s great but I recently got a bug where it stops loading after 66% in the loading screen. Fix this ASAP because there is a tournament going on and I would give 5 stars.

Falsetto: Cross-region war is by Scopely doesn’t even know how to match players properly. It’s a “give us money and we give you a higher 5-star character drop rate”. Don’t get me wrong I love this game so much but the cross-region war just ruined it for me. Please focus more on accurately pairing in PVP And region PVP. More call of arms events would be nice and events like normal war, hold the line and more faction events

David: I like playing the game. But it constantly crashes on me, especially during tournaments, so I lose all progress and rewards. Frustrating as hell! I’ve written complaints with no response or action.

Nouman: Well I installed the game and I am stuck on the intro. The next and skip button doesn’t work. I have heard a lot of good things about the game. Will you please get rid of the bug!!!

César: Since 4 days ago the game entered in a loop: I log in, and 5 seconds later it goes back to the title screen. And repeat. It’s annoying, more than 1 year playing this game and now I will stop because of that. And they can’t solve it.

Norm: This game is 1 of the best games on my phone but the cost to get them characters is too much. If u can’t spend a few hundred a month at least to stay at the top don’t try to get to the top.

Derik: As the title says, I like to describe why you see I like the new feature. The armory what makes me upset and I think many can agree some common things are hard to get. Why I don’t know like the screws and nails like why are they common and yet in the game. It’s stated that it’s rarely found in common or better weapons and not everything is crafted. Such as the items I mentioned I find unfair do to the fact that obtaining them is difficult or nearly impossible please give us another way.

Justin: Fun game but the difficulty is all messed up. One group rated A++ can go down easy but other times it will take the whole team to take down one normal enemy.

Shane: I thought this would be a pick a path storyline giving us options to choose our path like the ad I saw. Which do you choose to save the lady or grab the media pack? Feed you or the child.

Christopher: If you catch a new world as it starts and you play consistently, you can keep up with the people that pay. It’s an addictive game. Ranked top 10 in the raid and have yet to pay for gold!

Pandaren: Fun game while it lasted. However, like the other reviews have been saying, if your device breaks or gets lost/stolen, if you are a f2p player, it will be very difficult to get your account back. The support will ask for purchase history, which, if you have none, automatically disqualifies you. Fun game, just watch out for investing too much as f2p.

Joan: I’ve been playing this game since 2/2016 and I have to say its the game I’ve stuck with the longest it is a lot of fun and if you like walking dead show or comics then you will like this game. It is a game though where the more you spend the better characters you get. They have made improvements since I started as far as making it easier to get 5*s so that’s helpful.

John: If ur about to start a new game, don’t bother. There’s nothing for new players, impossible to progress as everything is tailored for high-level players. For example, ain’t won a single raid in days, cannot do survival, just same world levels every day.. boring and pointless.

Nesson: It’s a great game. Although it’s just as deceptive as the rest. My example is the latest event. They said every player will have the opportunity to gain a 5-star character. I’m rank 1465 on my region and I struggled to get it. So how is EVERY player supposed to be able to get it?

Jeffery: I’ve been playing since nearly day one. This WAS a 5* review until the latest version. Instant crash upon load. I can’t access the game anymore, despite multiple uninstall/reinstall and trying what solely suggested for a fix. I’m a faction co-leader and I have put a lot of time and effort into this game, as well as a bit of cash. Please, fix this.

Blue: Passes time lolz it’s not boring I don’t spend money on here and my rank is high taken forever though.

Doobies: I’ve been playing now about a year and a half, I enjoy all aspects. The game is constantly evolving. Not spent a penny just put in some time, I’m top 500 and manage to keep up with some of the higher levels 200 or so. I didn’t spend money and have five-star characters and a kick-ass team. Keep in mind it doesn’t happen overnight.
